What is a wireless fish finder?

A wireless fish finder is a device that uses SONAR (SOund Navigation And Ranging) technologies to send out sound underwater to detect and identify objects below the surface.

High sound frequencies are sent down to a specific depth, so when the sound waves hit objects, they are reflected back to the receiver, which analyzes and displays information about the object's distance, location, and size. This principle is similar to the echolocation used by some animal species, like dolphins and bats.

This fish finder is the wireless version of our 100m wired model, designed for both amateur and professional anglers and fishing enthusiasts, to detect fishing spots (regardless of whether they are in groups or not) in a specified area and to determine water depth. With the latest sonar detection technology, the device can display real-time updates of the bottom contour. It can also identify and display weeds, sand, and rocks on the seabed.

Using a Rod and Reel / Trolling Pole. The sensor is equipped with two holes in its base that allow you to safely trail the line. Once installed, you can cast the sensors into the water to quickly scan the area below and not just the water directly beneath the unit, then send updates to the handheld unit. Within seconds, you will get information about depth, fish environment, and whether there are fish in the area.

Alternatively with Bait Boats. You can attach the sonar so it is pulled behind the boat or mount it on a suitable bracket on your boat. Either way, the sonar will function exactly the same and send all information back to your handheld unit.

Tips for using the wireless fish finder

Ensure you use the fish finder within the specified limits and operating conditions. Maximum and minimum depths, temperatures, and connectivity requirements are important factors for the unit to function optimally.
